Description
What do we mean by the art of living? How do we look at the time we spend? How do we look at the state we live in?
To accompany the theme year Art of Living – Kulturland Brandenburg 2022, 11 authors and a photographer have asked themselves what it feels like to live in Brandenburg and how the art of living here can succeed in a good and meaningful way.
The focus is on stories in which the authors sharpen their view of the state in order to rediscover the familiar. Others describe how Brandenburg became their home. In the literary and essayistic contributions, the authors embark on a search for the art of living in Brandenburg. They scrutinise the expected and explore the country off the beaten track.
With texts by Martin Ahrends, Kenneth Anders, Lars Fischer, Gudrun Gorka-Reimus, Alexa von Heyden, Christian Müller-Lorenz, Karosh Taha and Susanne Isabel Yacoub. With poems by Anushka, Alisha Gamisch and Marit Persiel.
With photos by Frank Gaudlitz.
